If a foreign friend asks me a place to visit in Hong Kong, the first place that probably pop out from my mind is The Peak. Renowned for the incredible view of the spellbinding skyline, it has attracted plenty of tourists here every year.
The Peak wins hands down for people who want to admire the panoramic high-rise view. So, this place can be easily overlooked by the locals as it can be tourist-ridden.
But as you walk along the twisting pathway to the Victoria Peak Garden, you will find an entirely different planet. You can bask in the tranquility in the green lawn while simultaneously enjoy the skyscrapers view.
Not just an attraction place for tourists, this is the oasis for locals in the midst of the hustling CBD to escape for some peace of mind.
